  • 2002

    • Mr. Lyu Yixiong started business in the cosmetics industry in Shanghai.

  • 2003

    • Independent research and development was launched.
    • The cosmetic brand KANS was founded.

  • 2005

    • In 2005, first autonomous supply chain was launched, and the construction of the first industrial park of the Group, Suzhou Lizi production base, was commenced. The Suzhou factory was put into operation in 2006.

  • 2014

    • One Leaf - a brand with a focus on botanical and natural skincare products was established. Signed Lu Han as a Brand Ambassador.

  • 2015

    • Baby Elephant - a brand with a focus on maternity and childcare products was established
    • KANS became the leading brand among domestic cosmetics products.

  • 2016

    • Chicmax started to invest in fundamental research.
    • One Leaf became the top facial mask brand in China determined by market shares.

  • 2018

    • CHICMAX Science and Technology Park (Zhongyi Daily Chemical) commenced operations

  • 2019

    • The Okayama factory in Japan commenced operations
    • Baby Elephant became the top domestic maternity and childcare brand in China by market shares.

  • 2020

    • COVID-19 epidemic outbreak. CHICMAX was the first cosmetic company to donate one million yuan to the frontline medical staff in Wuhan.
    • With seeing talent cultivation as the business strategy, the promulgation of the three major documents “Salary System”, “Regulations for Management of Talent Recruitment” and “Bonus System for Talents” provided a scientific foundation for the development of CHICMAX talent ladder system to commit to future competition.
    • CHICMAX Science and Technology Park has been certificated as the educational base by National Medical Products Administration, as the first institution to help cultivate talents in the national chemical industry.
    • The company was renamed as Shanghai Chicmax Cosmetic Co., Ltd.

  • 2021

    • KANS started the cooperation with China National Swimming Association, the slogan “KANS = Quality National Products” became popular.
    • Zhengzhou flooded, relief materials worth 5 million yuan were donated to the disaster area.

  • 2022

    • The company was listed on the Main Board of HKEX.
    • CHICMAX consolidated the core positions of the three main brands, focused on developing new brands like asnami, KYOCA, ARMYIO, newpage, TAZU and so on, improved the brand matrix.
